Carol hails from South Africa, where she gained a Bachelor of Commerce
and Diploma in Accounting from the University of Natal. She initially worked as a group accountant for various companies before honing her skills as an insolvency accountant.  A move to New Zealand saw her continue her work in this area, becoming a Chartered Accountant and taking on the role of financial controller for a stevedoring company.

Carol joined us in November 2002 and heads up our superannuation division.

Carol is an outdoors person - she enjoys going to the beach and playing tennis, as well as going to the gym.

Lea joined Rhodes Docherty & Co in July 2007 as a support staff member for the superannuation team. Lea has completed an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.

Prior to joining the firm, Lea had taken a break from her career in the IT industry to spend time raising her family.

In her free time Lea enjoys being with family and friends, reading and going to the gym.

Teresa joined Rhodes Docherty & Co in March 2007. She commenced her
accounting career in 2000 as a trainee accountant with a Chartered Accounting Firm on the Northern Beaches, completing her Advanced Diploma in Accounting in 2001.

Having also completed a Diploma in Superannuation as well as Financial Planning, she specialises in all aspects of Self Managed Superannuation Funds.

In her free time Teresa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves travelling and the outdoors, running and boxing.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of QLD, Justine
returned to her hometown and joined Rhodes Docherty & Co in June 1994. She completed her Master of Commerce at Macquarie University and became an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1998.

Justine specialises in self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) audits, as well as having extensive experience in small business accounting, tax and GST issues for individuals and business and investment entities.

When not at the office, Justine spends most of her time keeping up with her three small children, but also manages to read and cook.

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Wollongong,
Sharryn moved to Sydney and worked for a mid-size firm Bongiorno & Co.

In 2001, she decided to take a break from her career and stay at home with her two daughters until joining Rhodes Docherty in September 2004. 

Sharryn currently works part-time with the superannuation team. As well as spending time with her family, her interests include playing tennis and going to the gym.

Lisa completed a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Environmental Law at the University of Sydney. With the majority of her work experience in the accounting field, Lisa decided to change career paths and become an accountant. She is currently undertaking a Graduate Conversion Course in Accounting at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Lisa's passion is the environment, particularly the Australian Bush.

Bruce joined the firm in March 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, with a finance minor and an accounting major. He is currently undertaking the CA program, with two modules remaining, which he plans to complete by June 2013.

Bruce specialises in superannuation, having extensive experience in both chartered and commercial business environments, and more than 8 years experience within the SMSF industry.

Having grown up in Bathurst, Bruce loves clean country air and in his spare time enjoys jogging, going to the gym and playing sports. He also enjoys social nights out with friends on weekends.
